What is our program structure and the activities?

Program structure and activities vary according to nature of the program. In general, our program is designed with a lot of activities which will be occurring daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly.

Standup
This meeting is designed to provide a status update on each student daily basis. Students will join virtual meeting room at pre scheduled time each student will discuss the following:

Progress since last session
Plan for today
Any blockers or problems they have 
Example Meeting Times: 9:15 AM - 9:45 AM Sunday to Thursday

Live Coding Practice
Session led by Program Manager/Mentor where we walk students through a common interview question or part of a Qwasar project. All sessions are recorded for future reference.

Example Meeting Time: 11:45 AM - 12:15 PM Tuesday

Collaboration Session
Session where students collaborate and solve problems in small groups. Each group focuses on a different problem and shares their results at the end of this session. At the conclusion of this meeting, we also have a quick “Skills Check” quiz to present students with common terminology and questions.

Startup of the Week
Each week, a student will present a startup or new technology that excites them and shares it with the group. Following the presentation, we have a discussion around the startup. This session helps build soft-skills and also helps strengthen the community.

    • What is the basic requirement to qualify for the program?

      In order to qualify for the program students need to have a good command over English. Also we will be testing their motivation and dedication level. Also, problem solving capability of individuals.
